On behalf of the Martin County Board of Education, welcome to the Martin County School District. It is an honor to welcome you to another exciting year!

Tradition is important and we continue to set high expectations for learning. Most importantly, our administrators, teachers & staff have spent countless hours over the summer in professional development and are prepared to motivate and engage our students in learning and academic success.

We know each child brings to school a unique set of skills to share. As a team, we will work diligently to ensure that your child learns, grows & develops these skills into an independent learner who is college and/or career ready.

I am honored to serve as your Superintendent of the Martin County School District. I am privileged to be part of a community where parents, staff and students care for each other and work tirelessly to build positive relationships that support individual success. I value the trust you have placed in me and I strive to create an environment where staff and students can succeed. I strongly believe that as we take a comprehensive view of our school system – the quality of staff: student achievement; quality and scope of our educational programs; services offered; success with extracurricular activities; and quality of school facilities, just to name a few – we can see that we are moving in the right direction and have the ability to be one of the best in the state.

Much of what occurs during the school year is influenced by actions of the members of the Martin County Board of Education. I would like to thank them for their hard work and diligence in making sure that the needs of the district are met.
